• To permit a wide selection of point to shank sizes to meet the most exacting requirements of modern die design.
• To permit close spacing of punches and die bushings.
• To give maximum point strength through a one-half inch radius between point and shank.
• With shank diameters made for a correct press fit to N.A.P.M. standards. Press in leads are ground on punches and die bushings for easy starting and straight alignnment for
  a press fit.

STEEL

• Most items illustrated in this catalog are available in three types of tool steel to meet the wide demands of modern stamping production. All three types of steel: (5% Chrome-A2), air hardening tool steel, (HCHC-D3) high carbon high chrome, (HSS-M2) high speed steel, and powered metallurgy, M4PM, 10VPM, T15 and M2PM.

HEAT TREATMENT

• All items shown in this catalog are heat treated in our own plant to insure maximum quality under the finest conditions in vacuum furnaces. This modern equipment, while under vacuum, heats and quenches with inert gas or oil as required.

QUALITY

• All Perfekt products are of the precision type, ground to insure maximum straightness, concentricity, and super microfinish. Close dimensional control is exercised in order to give our customers a high quality precision product.

• PUNCHES: Special shapes can be made to meet your specifications including special countersink, shearform, emboss type, etc.

• DIE BUSHINGS: Special shaped die bushings can be made to meet your specifications in either precision ground split, or solid form electrical discharge machined shapes.

• STEEL: Punches and die bushings can be made from special steel to meet your specifications.

• HEAT TREATMENT: Special heat treatment available per your requirements.

• KEYING: All punches and die bushings can be precision keyed to your specifications.

• OTHER SERVICES: Hard chrome flashing, or titanium niteriding.
